Thank God for single mothers like my own that have stepped up and played the role of mommy and daddy but being a father involves more than creating a child. Did you know: - 63% of suicides come from fatherless homes - 90% of runaways and homeless people come from fatherless homes - children from fatherless homes are 8 times more likely to end up in prison - 85% of children that show behavioral disorders come from fatherless homes - 80% of rapists come from fatherless homes - 71% of high school dropouts come from fatherless homes I could go on and on... A lot of the issues of today are going to have nothing to do with who you elect. Unfortunately for some, you are going to have to step up and take responsibility and very simply be present for your kids. Your children don't need your presents... they need your presence.
